Atkore Unistrut & Marco supplied a variety of Metal Framing and Cable Management solutions as part of the Hellerman Tyton Extension project in Plymouth UK.

Plymouth manufacturer Hellermann Tyton has broken ground on phase II of a major expansion of its factory which is expected to create 100 jobs.

The multi-million-pound investment will see its site at the Plymouth International Medical and Technology Park, in Derriford, double in size to support market growth and increase its capacity.

The investment includes the installation of state-of-the-art machinery along with a training academy and R&D facilities.

Technical Sales Manager, Sam Bannister states, “It was great to work with Gary and the T Clarke team again on this project following the success of Mast House. The installation was of real high quality, was great to be a part of the project.”

Gary Tidball, Divisional Director states, “After the success of our Mast House project, we worked with Sam to specify all Atkore containment and fixings. by doing this it provides full traceability to the client, but also we can provide the warranty that comes with the Unistrut system. The project has gone very smoothly with no extended lead times, we placed our orders well in advance to ensure we would receive everything when required.”
