Marco's International Expansion

Marco is forging ahead with its expansion into international markets and is set to exhibit at Madrid-based trade fair, Matelec on the 25-28th of October.

Matelec, the International Trade Fair for the Electrical and Electronics Industry, will feature more than 600 businesses across four main specialist areas: Matelec, Lightec, Industry and Urbótica. The event, which encompasses over 20,000 sq ft of exhibition space, has been organised by IFEMA and is considered Southern Europe’s leading trade show for the entire industry.

Following Marco’s announcement earlier this year to enter European and international markets, their sales team are keen to generate increased awareness of the Marco brand and its steel wire cable tray range.

Stephen Bradley who now leads Marco’s international sales commented: “Matelec is an incredibly important event in the international electrical industry. This is the first time that Marco has exhibited and I’m sure being part of it will provide a fantastic platform from which we can promote our products.”

“Whilst there are several other manufacturers established on an international level within our sector, there are very few British manufacturers developing quality products such as ours. Coupled with our excellent customer service levels, I believe we will make significant headway in the coming months.”

Matelec is set to attract more than 45,000 visitors from 80 countries. Further information regarding Matelec can be found at http://www.ifema.es/matelec_06/
