Contractor C&S Electrical has utilised the combined benefits of a one stop Unistrut and Marco electrical raceway solution at a major residential project in Manchester.

The new 36-storey tower, ‘Angel Gardens’ will provide much needed social housing through the development of 455 flats on the former Noma regeneration site, in the North of the city.

Bolton-based C&S Electrical has opted for Unistrut's ladder, tray, trunking and channel as well as Marco’s steel wire cable tray, ultimately sourcing all of their cable containment needs from a single supplier.

Kate Knox, Regional Manager for Unistrut & Marco explained: “The combined forces of Unitstrut and Marco are increasingly being embraced by UK electrical contractors. Both are strong brands that together deliver all needs from under one roof, streamlining the specification and installation process whilst guaranteeing peace of mind through the quality, strength and durability of these products.

“Our products sit comfortably within a residential environment and are an ideal solution for a large scale scheme as is this case here at Angel Gardens.”

The £100million scheme also includes lounges, a cinema room, rooftop gardens, a gym with fitness classes and sports pitches plus bars and restaurants.
