uPVC Trunking & Steel Wire Cable Tray

A £25m development replacing the former Neston High School buildings is gathering momentum, with Marco’s Elite uPVC trunking and steel wire cable tray specified throughout.

The new three-storey school, due to be completed in 2018, is currently under construction on the site of a former artificial grass pitch.

Most of the existing school buildings will remain in use until the new school can be occupied, following which they will be demolished to make way for new and replacement outdoor sports facilities and parking.

Marco’s products have been installed across the vast development, providing a simple one-stop shop solution for all of the cable containment. The products have been delivered to site under various phases according to the requirements of the contractor.

Kate Knox, Key Accounts Manager explained: “We have worked closely with A&B Engineering throughout this large-scale build and installation programme. Ensuring we are able to operate in line with their project timetable has been incredibly important and deliveries have been made at specific times of the day when the school is largely not in use.”

She added: “Yet again, Marco is recognised as the go-to manufacturer of choice for the education sector and our products have proved to be the perfect specification in this state of the art environment.”

Overall the new Neston High will provide an education resource for approximately 1,750 students.
